Thank you to our very own Gloria Kingma – for the fun filled day of painting seascapes in pastels, Saturday, February 24th. Gloria has been an inspirational art instructor with the Pelham Art Association since 2015, teaching watercolours Thursday mornings, and acrylics Thursday afternoons, as well as, the occasional workshops. We used soft pastels on velour paper for these paintings – great job everyone!!

Huge thank you to Kaitlin Mason – for the fun filled workshop of “Drawing on Wood” , Saturday, October 21st. Kaitlin’s drawings capture the essence of fabric in its current form, creating a visual record of a moment in time using coloured pencils on wood.

We enjoyed a full day workshop of “Paper Collage” , Saturday, September 23, 2023, in the Festival Room, of the Lincoln/Pelham Public Library. Huge thank you to Joanna Turlej for sharing her her ideas with us! Joanna is a contemporary, Canadian artist specializing in paper collage as a medium. She develops her unique style of “painting with paper” and uses it across different genres. Whether it is a landscape, flowers, or a portrait, she use paper to create her images.
